The Man Booker Prize Longlist has been announced...
If you are a book lover, this is an exciting time of the year. The longlist for the prestigious Man Booker Prize has been announced and although no Canadian author has made it on the list, it's time to celebrate. Because book lovers don't really care about the geographic margins; what they really are passionate about are great books.
Glad to see Karen Joy Fowler on the list and David Mitchell's The Bone Clocks, the latter book I am anxiously waiting for its release in September.
Below is the complete list. Get reading and only then you can objectively decide if you agree with the judges. The list will narrow down to six in September. And with £50,000 on the table, this is one coveted book prize that will set an author into instant stardom.
